COMMERCIAL PRODUCTS HAVE ALWAYS BEEN AN IMPORTANT COMPONENT IN ARIZONA TILE'S PRODUCT MIX

TEMPE, Arizona (October 6, 2008) - View PDF Arizona Tile has been focused on the commercial market, in addition to the residential market, for many years. Many of Arizona Tile’s products--natural stones, porcelain and glass tiles can be used in commercial and residential projects, both indoor and outdoor. Plus, Arizona Tile has a series of products designed specifically for commercial use which include:

- Casalgrande Padana: Includes 10 series and over 75 colors, unique sizes such as 24”x48” tile
- Earth by Terra Green: Contains recycled materials and is available in 9 colors
- Pietre d’Italia: Available in 4 colors
- I Quarzi: Available in 4 colors

For commercial purposes, Arizona Tile offers special order sizes and trims in select tile lines. Large format and unique tile sizes are also available. In addition to various sizes, the tile lines feature up-to-date style demands and technological construction. One example is a marble-on-porcelain line (MC Series), which features marble fused onto a porcelain body. The MC Series combines the beauty of marble with the benefits of porcelain. With a natural stone surface and a porcelain body, the MC Series weighs less, reduces environmental impact, and is more efficient and cost effective to install. Arizona Tile also offers a special cut-to-size program for stone countertops, which supports large quantity commercial demands.

Arizona Tile is able to provide testing data for specifiers on different porcelain tile lines. For a porcelain tile to be considered suitable for commercial use, a few tests are established for Static Coefficient of Friction, PEI, Water Absorption and Breaking Strength. These tests relate to porcelain and ceramic products.

Arizona Tile’s natural stone lines cater to both commercial and residential markets. For stone, there are special order sizes available, such as 36”x36” Stormy Travertine tile. Materials included are granite, travertine, marble, limestone, onyx, slate and quartzite.
